All about PHI-ION

Drooping eyelids are not just an aesthetic problem. However, the first thing you’ll probably notice is a change in your appearance. Your eyes will look more tired, lacklustre, older and sadder. You may also experience functional problems. These include eye pain, a pronounced feeling of tired eyes, and sometimes even impaired peripheral vision.

Thanks to the range of modern cosmetic treatments available, you no longer need to resort to surgery to address the problems associated with a loss of elasticity.

PHI-ION is a groundbreaking method for rejuvenating sagging skin and works exceptionally well for correcting drooping eyelids. The plasma pen is also suitable for removing deep wrinkles on the forehead, around the ears, around the lips and chin, and therefore also for wrinkles around the eyes. In addition to removing wrinkles, I can also use this method to remove milia, fibromas and warts…

How does it all work?

Before the treatment, I will explain the entire procedure to you and then apply an anaesthetic cream to the area to be treated.

The main tool used in PHI-ION is a special plasma pen, which emits focused energy beams. Only the outermost layer of the skin is affected, which is why healing is rapid. This disruption stimulates the natural production of collagen, which is essential for skin tightening and eyelid correction. The whole process takes about an hour and a half, of which the anaesthetic cream takes an hour and fifteen minutes to take effect and the procedure itself lasts twenty minutes.

After the treatment, small spots will remain on the skin. These are scabs, which will fall off once the skin has fully healed, usually within 7–10 days.

Before you leave the salon, you will receive detailed instructions on how to care for the areas where the treatment was applied. Dry cooling will certainly help to make you feel more comfortable…

The advantages of PHI-ION over blepharoplasty

Full recovery after surgery can take up to two months. With PHI-ION, it takes less than a week.

PHI-ION is a painless procedure as I use a strong anaesthetic cream; only the surface layer of the skin is affected and no skin is removed, unlike with blepharoplasty. Another advantage is that with PHI-ION, there are no scars, bruises or stitches to be removed, and this procedure can be repeated after a year, unlike traditional eyelid surgery.
