Why visit a skincare professional?

Nowadays, skincare is available in many forms, even in the comfort of your own home. We use various creams, serums and masks, and everyone has their own preference.

However, when it comes to real results and a visible improvement in skin quality, professional treatments do have their place.
Products intended for home use do not contain the same concentration of active ingredients as professional cosmetics, and correct technique and experience in application play an equally important role.

You can count on high-quality, professional treatments at my salon.

What is the difference between home skincare and professional skincare?

A skincare routine at home is the foundation that should form part of your daily routine. Professional treatments, however, go deeper and specifically address the skin’s particular needs.

During the treatment, I use professional skincare products and tailor each step to achieve the best possible result – whether that involves moisturising, cleansing, soothing or regenerating the skin.

The result is skin that is not only visibly more beautiful, but also healthier and more radiant.

What does a professional skincare treatment involve?

The treatment consists of several steps that build on one another and together form a comprehensive care programme:

First, I thoroughly cleanse the skin to remove all impurities. This is followed by an exfoliation treatment to remove dead skin cells and prepare the skin for further treatment.

The treatment also includes a facial massage, which boosts blood circulation, relieves tension and has a deeply relaxing effect. I then apply a mask suited to your skin type, which provides it with the necessary nutrients.

To finish, I apply a serum to lock in the moisture and enhance the effects of the entire treatment…

After the treatment, the skin may be slightly reddened; this is a natural reaction that will quickly subside.
The end result is fresh, radiant skin that feels soft to the touch…

About the cosmetics I use in the salon

I use only professional-grade skincare products in my treatments.

I always ensure that the skincare products I use are tried and tested and offer the very best benefits. I always tailor my choice of specific products to the individual skin type and its current condition.

Every skin type is different and requires a personalised approach. It is also important to monitor your skin’s needs depending on your age and other factors, such as the time of year and so on.

How often do I recommend skincare?

The frequency of treatments depends on your skin type and the results you wish to achieve.

In general, I recommend having a treatment once every 4 to 6 weeks.

When dealing with certain specific issues, the interval may be shorter.

A regular skincare routine helps keep your skin in good condition, prevent blemishes and slow down the signs of ageing.

The benefits of professional skincare

A professional treatment isn’t just about relaxation; it also offers a number of benefits:

  • thorough deep cleansing of the skin
  • promotes skin regeneration and natural renewal
  • improved hydration and overall appearance of the skin
  • softer, smoother and more radiant skin
  • a personalised approach tailored to your skin's needs

A cosy atmosphere is also a given, where you can relax and take some time for yourself.
